Rimfire Ammo Storage for Hunting, Plinking, and Range Days
Rimfire ammunition gets used in more situations than almost any other type of ammunition.
It’s used for small-game hunting, predator hunting, target shooting, and casual plinking. Because of that, most shooters own far more rimfire ammunition than any other caliber.
But the way rimfire ammo is packaged creates a few familiar problems.
Cardboard boxes wear out. Partially used trays get mixed together. Loose rounds end up in pockets, bags, or vehicle compartments.
That’s where the modular rimfire system becomes useful.

Squirrel Hunting (.22 LR)
When hunting small game like squirrels, most hunters only carry a small number of rounds.
Most people simply put a handful of rounds in their pocket, which tend to rattle while walking through the woods.
That’s where the 50-round rimfire cases are useful.
They allow hunters to carry a clean, protected group of rounds that fits easily into a jacket pocket, backpack, ATV storage box, or side-by-side compartment.

The lid flips open so you can quickly grab the rounds you need without digging through a pocket.
Predator Hunting (.22 WMR / .17 HMR)
Predator hunters using .22 WMR or .17 HMR typically carry even fewer rounds, but the ammunition itself is often more expensive and more specialized.
Most hunters bring factory cardboard or plastic containers with them.
Cardboard boxes can be awkward to open and close, especially with gloves or cold hands.
Plastic containers protect the ammunition well, but they usually require sliding back the lid and dumping several rounds out just to grab one.
The 50-round cases keep the cartridges protected while letting you quickly pick out the rounds you need.
They fit easily in a pocket, pack, or vehicle compartment while heading out to call coyotes or check fields.

Plinking and Target Shooting
Range days and tailgate plinking sessions are where the larger rimfire cases become especially useful.
This is where the bulk rimfire box comes along.

The box is built to hold:
• 3 × 80-round cases (.22 LR, .22 WMR, or .17 HMR)
• 2 × 154-round cases (.22 LR)
The box can also be used on its own for bulk storage, holding up to 750 rounds of .22 LR.
During a typical range session, shooters simply work through one case at a time.
Shoot through a case, place the empty case back in the box, and grab the next one.
This keeps ammunition organized while preventing loose rounds and worn cardboard boxes.
Why the Rimfire System Works So Well
Rimfire ammunition gets used in a lot of different ways.
Sometimes you're carrying a small number of rounds while hunting. Other times you're bringing hundreds of rounds for target shooting.
The modular rimfire system makes it easy to operate in both situations.

You can carry a small case in your pocket while hunting, or bring an entire box filled with multiple cases for range days and plinking.
Either way, the ammunition stays protected, organized, and ready to use.
