Our Story: Gear Built for the Woods

For years, we relied on flimsy cardboard boxes that tear, wear out and break down in the elements. We tried alternatives and tired of the 'universal' ammo boxes. They were poorly designed and rarely offered the caliber selection we needed. Beyond that, they lacked the professional look we wanted. East Ridge Outdoors was born to fix that.

The East Ridge Standard

Based out of Eastern Manitoba, we know that if gear can handle our conditions, it can handle yours. Here's how our products are engineered and tested:

  • Built for Real Conditions: We've used our products in the deep freeze of a -30° Manitoba December to ensure they don't get brittle or fail
  • The Cardboard Upgrade: Using high-impact PETG and TPU, our storage is tough, waterproof and heat-rated up to 175°F (80 C). Whether it’s sitting in a hot truck or a frozen tree stand, it won't warp or lose its shape. 
  • Precision Fit: We don’t guess on fitment. Every box is engineered with Millwright-level tolerances and produced with a 0.1mm production standard to ensure a perfect fit every time

Dalain Prefontaine | Field Testing & Social Media Dalain was born for the outdoors. Having grown up hunting the Manitoba Sandilands, he spends his free time hunting deer, bear, moose, coyotes, wolves and grouse. If our gear can survive a season in the woods with Dalain, it can survive anything. You can follow his hunting adventures and see our gear in action on our social media pages.

Jordan Wieler | Production & Operations Jordan is in charge of production and shipping. When he isn't in the shop he's hanging out at his property in the Sandilands, hunting, cutting trails or riding ATV's with his four kids. Jordan oversees the manufacturing and shipping of every East Ridge order, ensuring that the box on your doorstep meets our high standards of quality.

Duane Gitzel | Head of Design A Millwright by trade, Duane ("Gitz") brings industrial-grade precision to everything we build. With 10 years of CAD programming experience and a background in graphic design, he is the architect of the East Ridge lineup. Duane turns our ideas into the high-performance, physical products you take to the field.
